Course complete

The signature assignment for the course was basically a summary of all the assignments submitted over the course. My company selection was: Facebook.

I finished the signature assignment and received a grade. The course is now complete!

The week 5 assignment is challenging. I started early and am making progress.

I submitted the week 4 assignment that focuses on Facebook's competitors. The assignments all lead up to the final signature assignment.

I submitted the assignment early because of travel plans.

Assignment submitted

Assignment submitted. I decided not to include the completed assignment. The school has an issue with my assignments that are "out there" .... they are assisting other students. I will have to change my setup.

I am now reviewing the requirements for the week 3 assignment.
We will focus on the customer (for strategic planning) in week 3.

Working, working....

I used a pen and paper (I went low tech) to jot down some ideas for my presentation. I hope to complete the assignment soon. It is a good one!

Moving forward

I started putting the presentation together. It is a very interesting assignment. I am learning a lot.
I am realizing that strategic planning is an area companies typically want to hire an external consultant to lead the discussion. I have to think about this some more. I have a background in strategic planning and long-range planning.

Course going well

The course is going well. I am now working on the week 2 assignment - a presentation.
I will use my selected company (Facebook) throughout the course.

I noticed materials on a doctoral portfolio instead of a comprehensive exam. I am interested. I have to find out more....

I started a new course: BUS7130 Business Leadership and Strategy. I am working on the first assignment (from Guyana!).
